Ombudsman's Activities | 21.09.2021 Ombudsmen Dr. Jasminka Džumhur and Nives Jukić visited the Institute for the Education of Male Children and Youth "Hum" Institute for the Upbringing of Male Children and Youth „Hum“ In the continuation of activities on the preparation of the Special Report on the situation in institutions where children are placed in conflict with the law, on which the Ombudsperson Institution works in cooperation with UNICEF, the Ombudsmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Jasminka Džumhur and Nives Jukić visited the Institute for the Education of Male Children and Youth "Hum" today with their associates. During the meeting with the director Dževad Šušak and the employees of the Institute, the ombudswomen were informed about the manner of functioning and organization of the department, as well as the activities of professional staff in training minors to return to their families and social environment. After visiting the premises where children and minors work with children, the ombudswomen also talked to the protégés of this institution about the causes and consequences of unacceptable behavior of children and minors.
