Recommendation to the City of Tuzla, Inspection Service

The Institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina received a complaint from the Tuzla complainant, filed with the Tuzla City Inspection Service. The appellant alleges that due to the unauthorized construction of a catering facility by a neighbor, he was denied the right to peaceful enjoyment of his property, which is why, in order to protect his rights, he unsuccessfully applied to the Inspection Service of Tuzla with a request to take necessary measures.

During the proceedings before this Institution, the Ombudsmen for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not receive the requested statement of the Inspection Service regarding the legal matter in question, which is why they sent a recommendation to the City of Tuzla, Inspection Service on December 22, 2022:

1. Upon receipt of this Recommendation, to establish cooperation with the Institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the manner prescribed by the Law on the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina and submit the requested statement, as stated in the acts of 08.02.20021, 18.05.2021, 26.07.2021 and 07.09.2021.

2. to inform the Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina within 8 (eight) days on the manner of compliance with the Recommendation.
