Recommendation to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo

On October 9, 2019, the Human Rights Ombudsmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina decided to initiate an ex officio case in order to monitor the bankruptcy proceedings against the property of the company Hidrogradnja d.d. Sarajevo before the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, number: 65 0 St 569320 16 St. Namely, by the Decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, number: 65 0 St 569320 16 St of 22 September 2016, bankruptcy proceedings were opened against the property of the company Hidrogradnja d.d. Sarajevo.

As part of the investigation procedure, the Ombudsperson Institution on 17 september 2020. sent an act to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo with a request to submit to the institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman as soon as possible, and no later than within 10 days from the date of receipt of the act, information on the stage of the specific procedure. As no response was received within the set deadline, on February 25, 2021, an urgent action was sent to act according to the act of the Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated September 17, 2020.

Until the day of sending the Recommendation, the Institutions of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not received the requested act

The Ombudsperson Institution sent to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo Recommendation, number: P-180/21 of 15 July 2021, to establish cooperation with the institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina immediately upon receipt of the recommendation in the manner prescribed by the Law on Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina. and submit a statement.
