Ombudsman Dr. Jasminka Džumhur participates in the workshop "Individual and social consequences of uncertain loss - Support to faculties and researches in Bosnia and Herzegovina"

Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Jasminka Džumhur, at the invitation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), participates in a workshop on "Individual and social consequences of uncertain loss - Support to faculties and researches in Bosnia and Herzegovina", which is held in Sarajevo, November 14th and 15th this year.

During the workshop, the results and focus of the work of the ICRC - 25 years in Bosnia and Herzegovina, social, family and individual aspects of the problem of missing persons, as well as experiences with work with families of missing persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992-1995) will be presented and possible models of cooperation and suggestions of support to faculty and students in the research of this field.

The Ombudsman, Dr. Jasminka Džumhur, will address the participants on the topic: The Process of Finding the Missing Persons and Legal Aspects.

Participants of the workshop are representatives of public institutions, civil society, academia and international organizations, as well as representatives of associations of families of missing persons.
