Ombudsman's Activities | 12.09.2017 Meeting of Ombudsman Ljubinko Mitrović with Commissioner for Protection of Equality of The Republic of Serbia Meeting of BiH Ombudsman Ljubinka Mitrović with the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality of Serbia Brankica Janković Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ljubinko Mitrović, PhD, met yesterday in Belgrade with Serbia's Commissioner for Protection of Equality Brankica Janković. During the meeting, the importance of further exchange of experiences and good practices in promoting equality and human rights was emphasized, and the discussion also focused on current cases dealt by the two institutions. This working meeting was organized as part of the strengthening and continuation of regional cooperation, ahead of the conference that will be organized in Zagreb on 30 October this year. The gathering will be attended by all the institutions from the region that signed the Belgrade Declaration on November 16 last year on the International Day of Tolerance, which laid the foundations for joint action and networking with the aim of combating discrimination, promoting equality and respect for human rights of citizens and citizens of South East Europe.
