Jasminka Džumhur, ombudsman Ombudsperson Jasminka Džumhur, PhD, participated today in the work of the roundtable „Modalities of resolving the social status of mothers and payment of child allowance in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina“, which took place on the premises of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. The aim of the Roundtable is to present the current status in this extremely important social area and to cooperate with the federal and cantonal institutions, primarily the representatives of the cantonal assemblies and the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to find adequate modalities for resolving the status of maternity and child allowance as more effective legal stimulus and protection of the family as the core element of a healthy and prosperous community. Co-organizers of the Roundtable are the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Lidija Bradara and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Edin Mušić.
