Ombudsman Nives Jukić at the meeting of the Inter-Cantonal Forum against Discrimination

At the invitation of the head of the OSCE field office in Travnik, ombudsman Nives Jukić will participate in the meeting of the Inter-Cantonal Forum against Discrimination that will take place on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in Vitez.

The Anti-Discrimination Forum serves as the driver and basis of capacity building activities, the exchange of experiences and the linking of civil society organizations, both those providing free legal aid, as well as academic communities, the judiciary, legal experts, public administrations, as well as other professionals working in the field The fight against discrimination and the protection of human rights in the Central Bosnia and the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

The main topic of the meeting will be the prevention of discrimination against women in political and public life.

Ombudsman Nives Jukić will present an annual report on the results of the Ombudsman institution for human rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a focus on discrimination.
