The Ombudsmen at Conference on human rights and liberties situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Ombudsmen, Dr. Jasminka Džumhur, Nives Jukić and Dr Ljubinko Mitrović participate in the third annual conference on human rights and freedoms in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held on 26 and 27 April 2017 in Neum.

The conference is traditionally organized by the Joint Commission for Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the participation of representatives of state and entity parliaments, the Institution of Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the relevant ministries and agencies at the state level.

The main goal of the meeting is the presentation of annual reports which are made on the basis of monitoring the conclusions of previous conferences, as well as other identified priorities in the field of human rights and freedoms.

The Ombudsmen Dr. Jasminka Džumhur, Nives Jukić and Dr Ljubinko Mitrović will address the participants of the conference in the second panel on the topic: "Progress in the implementation of the conclusions from previous conferences and new challenges - the Institution of Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina."
