Press statement | 25.04.2017 Opening of office days of the Institution of Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bihać Opening of office days of the Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bihać The Ombudsmen for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of City Administration of Bihać and the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina will organize office days in Bihać, in order to facilitate access of the citizens to this Institution as a mechanism for protection of their rights. On this occasion there will be a meeting in the City Administration of Bihać, on Tuesday 25 April 2017, to be officially announced and opened the office days of the Institution of Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting will be attended by Predrag Raosavljević, Assistant Ombudsman and Head of the Department for elimination of all forms of discrimination, Almedina Karić, Adviser for Communication and International Cooperation, Martino Bianchi, head of field office Bihać of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Ličina, Human Rights Officer of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, while on behalf of the City administration of Bihać, the meeting will be attended by Sinha Kurbegović, secretary of city administrative organ and Alisa Mahmutagić, head of the Department of general administration and local self-governance. The Ombudsmen for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of City Administration of Bihać and the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized office days in Bihać in order to facilitate access of the citizens to this Institution as a mechanism for protection of their rights. At the time of office hours, lawyers employed by the Institution of Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be receiving complaints of physical and legal entities on human rights violations committed by any of the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its entities and the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Opening days will be organized in the premises of the City Administration of Bihać twice a month, every second and fourth Monday of the month.
