Press statement | 14.10.2016 The Institution of Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina marks 20th Anniversary Celebrating 20 years of existence and work of the Institution of Ombudsman for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina The Institution of Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the framework of marking of its 20th anniversary is organizing the international press-conference titled: „Equal in diversity“, to be held on Tuesday, 18 October 2016 in Sarajevo with support of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the conference currently attained level of human rights will be discussed, as well as challenges facing those involved in the protection and promotion of human rights. A short documentary on the role of the Institution of Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the community will be presented during the conference. The Conference will gather international experts and practitioners in the human rights field, representatives of the NHRIs and equality bodies from the region, lawyers, judges, representatives of the judicial and executive institutions, CSOs, international organizations, academicians and all those who had contributed to the work of the Institution of Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 20 years.
