Press statement | 20.09.2016 Ombudsperson Nives Jukić attends ENOC Annual Conference ENOC, Vilnius, Lithuania Ombudsperson Nives Jukić is attending the twentieth Annual Conference of the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children (ENOC) and its General Meeting which is taking place on 20-21 September 2016 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Topic of this Conference is "Equal Opportunities for All Children in Education". In a three-day conference which will be hosted by the Ombudsperson for Children's Rights of Lithuania, ENOC members will have the opportunity to exchange best practices and information on the activities related to equal opportunities of children in education, as well as other topics to the best interest of children. At separate sessions the Conference participants will be informed on the most recent activities of the Council of Europe and the European Commission in the field of equal opportunities of children in education and the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights related to children.
