Press statement | 12.07.2016 Ombudsman Nives Jukić met the Mayor of Mostar Ljubo Bešlić Meeting with the Mayor of Mostar Ljubo Bešlić Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nives Jukić, met today with the Mayor of Mostar Ljubo Bešlić. The meeting held at City Hall was attended by Advisor Ombudsman, Amra Kazić, and General Counsel of the City of Mostar Radmila Komadina. Visit of Ombudsman Nives Jukić to Mostar and meeting with Mayor Ljubo Bešlić was organized in the context of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Institution of Ombudsman for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as part of the activities of bringing closer the mandate of the institution of Ombudsman for Human Rights to the local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the meeting, they discussed the situation of human rights and the cooperation between the City Administration of Mostar and Ombudsman Institution. It was pointed out that this cooperation is satisfactory but there is room for its improvement, in order to provide more accurate and efficient solving of citizens' complaints.
