Press statement | 25.05.2016 Ombudsmen issued a recommendation to the Assembly and the Government of Tuzla Canton Children's Health Care in BiH, illustration Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a recommendation to the Assembly and the Government of Tuzla Canton to take appropriate and effective measures to ensure unconditional and free health care for all children in the Canton, and to Health Insurance of Tuzla Canton to ensure that all children in the Canton be free from direct personal participation in the form of annual premiums - stamps. Starting from the provisions of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international documents which are appended thereto and have direct application in the domestic legal system, particularly the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the European Social Charter, Ombudsmen once again pointed out that every child in Bosnia and Herzegovina should have equal access and equal opportunities in accessing health care, without discrimination on any grounds.
